Summer Nationals: Day Four
Day four was spent fencing in the Div 3 Men's epee. I started my warm up, but never really finished it. I was worried about the 80 percent cut off...which i didnt make. I was not fencing like I normally fence...I dont know where my head was. I can certainly say that im not at all imperessed with how i fenced, but I am ok that i placed 108th out of 133. I could have done much better, but their is always next year.
Summer Nationals: Day Three
Day three was spent watching foil and waiting for some blades to be repaired....for four hours!
I was not at all impressed with the people who worked on the blades...the work was good, but i could have fixed it in twenty minuets if i had known what the problem was.
Ugh! O well.

Summer Nationals: Day Two
Thursday we fenced the Junior Team Men's Epee event...we lost by an incredible margin 45-22. We fenced a team from Colorado they were good fencers, but on any other day I could have beaten the snot out of them. Alot of things went wrong my focus was off, I was rushing, I wasn't using my fingers, my lunge was not at all good...ugh! the list just goes on and on...either way i spent the rest of the day hanging out with some friends which was a good thing. Our team came in 21st out of 26 other teams...not to bad.

Summer Nationals: Day One
Today is the first day of the Summer National Championships for me. We got into Grapevine about 2:30 pm or so and I stayed at the venue until 5:30 pm, taking lessons and getting ready for tomorrows team event. We had a little trouble checking in, but it was solved soon thereafter. All is well for the first day here at the summer nationals and hopefully all will be well tomorrow.
